A Slyce of Life
After more than 20 years in business at Westchester County’s favorite, Ardsley Pizza, Tony and Phil Ciccone had well established themselves as the best New York style pizza joint in town. But being on top of their game didn’t stop them from jumping at the chance to expand their business when the opportunity arose.
And so begins the era of SLYCE, the newly reincarnated and fully renovated version of Ardsley Pizza - a place with the same great owners, plus a few extra toppings, so to speak. The slick new storefront reopened its doors on August 12, 2014, wowing regular customers with a whole new look and a fully expanded menu.
“This is the next evolution of what our business is going to be - “GastroPizza.” We are rebranding ourselves, but we still want to keep our roots in the traditional New York style pizza,” said Tony.
"It's a Manhattan kind of feel. Now you can get your Manhattan fix in Westchester, right here in your own backyard." - Phil Ciccone
In addition to a new selection of nine draft beers and a wine cuvenee system, “We offer artisan pies, and also continue our old world dishes that our customers have become so accustomed to, like the Chicken Ardsley, Chicken Scarpiello, and Chicken Parmigiana,” said Phil.
The new menu includes THE Veal Parm - featuring a butterflied, bone-in, center cut veal chop - and a selection of drafts, available by the glass or by growler, including Yonkers Lager, Captain Lawrence, Brooklyn Brewery, and the ever popular Allagash White.
By rebranding and expanding, Tony and Phil have built on on a foundation of family tradition, familiar atmosphere, and friendly service, where everyone knows your name.
“The name Slyce could mean anything, not just slice of Pizza but Slyce of life,” said Phil. “It’s a Manhattan kind of feel. Now you can get your Manhattan fix in Westchester, right in your own backyard.”
